TO BE A MEMBER

Presently, ICIArb conducts assessments before admittance to membership. However, upon admission into the ICIArb, Members are encouraged to attend  course modules, seminars, meetings, membership fora and other activities of ICIArb.

All applications for election to membership shall be made in the prescribed form and must comply with the conditions prescribed and issued by the Council from time to time. A test/interview will be conducted to determine suitability of the applicant.

Each activity has continuous professional development (CPD) hours allotted to it. A member is deemed qualified for empanelment as a neutral of ICIArb after a sufficient accumulation of CPD hours.

EMPANELMENT OF MEMBERS

Ordinarily members are not certified as Arbitrators until they attend sufficient seminars and workstudy sessions of the Institute. It is after adequate credit points have been achieved that the members are assigned to appropriate panels for Arbitration proceedings.

Certification

Our certificates are recognized by employers of the establishments where our members work. We have also had cause to contact actual or potential employers seeking accreditation or authentication of our certificates both within the Country and overseas
